Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) is a transportation service designed for patients who need a ride to and from medical appointments but do not require emergency care or an ambulance. It is ideal for elderly individuals, patients with disabilities, those recovering from surgery, dialysis patients, and anyone who is unable to drive themselves due to a medical condition. If you have a scheduled doctor’s visit, therapy session, or any other medical appointment, NEMT is here to help you get there safely and on time.

Yes, in many cases NEMT is a covered benefit. Medicaid and Medi-Cal cover NEMT for eligible patients who have no other means of transportation to their medical appointments. Many Medicare Advantage plans also include NEMT as a supplemental benefit. Additionally, some private insurance plans and managed care organizations cover transport costs. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your eligibility. We also accept private pay for patients who are not covered by insurance.

We recommend scheduling your ride at least 24 to 48 hours in advance to ensure availability and on-time pickup. For recurring trips such as dialysis or chemotherapy, we can set up a regular schedule so you never have to worry about booking each time.
